Job summary

Myers Capital Hawaii, LLC is seeking an experienced Residential & Commercial Loan Originator to join our Private Mortgage Department. This remote role services 48 states, handling origination from consultation to closing and collaborating with processing and underwriting teams.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record in origination across residential and commercial products, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Active NMLS license (or ability to obtain immediately).
• Minimum of 3–5 years of mortgage origination experience.
• Proven track record of success in mortgage sales and origination.
• Strong understanding of Conventional, VA, FHA, Jumbo, and commercial loan products.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Originate residential mortgage loans (Conventional, VA, FHA, Jumbo, and Portfolio products).
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with real estate agents, builders, and referral sources.
• Interview prospective borrowers to analyze financial and credit data and advise on product and pricing.
• Gather required documentation and work with processing and underwriting teams to ensure timely closings.
• Stay current with evolving mortgage guidelines, industry trends, and compliance regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service, keeping all parties updated throughout the process.
