Qualifications

  • 2+ years of painting experience preferred, with knowledge of tools and techniques.
  • Must be able to climb ladders and work on scaffolding.

Job description

We're hiring a reliable and process-driven Painter who is comfortable talking with clients to understand their needs. Our painters perform a variety of duties including scaffold assembly, sanding down old paint, filling in drywall holes, mixing paint, and painting interior or exterior walls. Our ideal candidate has previous work experience as a house and industrial painter and is comfortable using a variety of hand and power tools to get the job done. Responsibilities:
  • Protect trim, floors, fixtures, and furniture from paint using drop cloths and covers
  • Use a paint sprayer when the job requires it
  • Maintain a neat and tidy work area
  • Document your work daily in our software app on your phone
  • Communicate professionally with the Project Managers
  • Meet with customers to understand what they want and make suggestions
  • Treat painted surfaces with primer or sealer
  • Build scaffolding when needed
  • Mix paint or stains to customer’s specification
Qualifications:
  • Must live within 50 miles of Auburn Hills, Michigan to be considered for this position
  • Experience with painting tools and techniques is required
  • Experience with a paint sprayer
  • Must pass a drug screening
  • Climb ladders
  • Work on scaffolding
  • Knowledge of basic painting materials and tools is preferred, but we will provide training
  • We prefer if you have a high school diploma or GED
  • 2+ years work experience and completed apprenticeship is preferred, but not required
  • Driver’s license required
  • Stamina, standing for long periods of time, dexterity, and physical strength is required
Compensation:

$38,000 - $52,000 yearly
