Job description

Job Title: Painter

Do you take pride in providing a clean and flawless painting experience for clients? You might be a great fit to join our team! We're hiring a reliable and process-driven painter who is comfortable talking with clients to understand their needs.

Our painters perform a variety of duties including scaffold assembly, sanding down old paint, filling in drywall holes, mixing paint, and painting interior or exterior walls. Our ideal candidate has previous work experience as a house and industrial painter and is comfortable using a variety of hand and power tools to get the job done. If you have a full crew and insurances, such as General Liability and Worker's Compensation, you might be eligible for subcontracting.

Responsibilities:
  1. Apply primer or sealers to paint surfaces
  2. Cover trim, fixtures, furniture, and floors to protect them from paint
  3. Fill holes and cracks with putty, and sand away old paint to prepare surfaces for painting
  4. Talk with clients to understand their needs and help them make the best decision
  5. Erect scaffolding when required
Qualifications:
  • Stamina, ability to stand for long periods, dexterity, and physical strength
  • General knowledge of painting techniques and tools; training provided if needed
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • 2+ years of work experience and completed apprenticeship preferred but not required
  • Driver’s license required
Compensation:

$22 - $26 hourly
