Job Description:

The General Service Technician is a full-time or part-time hourly role, responsible for routine vehicle repairs and maintenance according to company standards and manufacturer specifications. The role emphasizes delivering exceptional 5-star customer service through effective communication and quality work.

Responsibilities include:

1. Perform basic vehicle services and repairs efficiently and accurately.
2. Conduct tire services, including removal, balancing, patching, mounting, and TPMS repairs.
3. Perform vehicle services such as oil changes, lubrication, battery testing, and replacements.
4. Complete courtesy inspections, identify additional service needs, and communicate effectively with guests.
5. Assist in inventory management and store duties, maintaining cleanliness and readiness.
6. Follow safety standards, including proper equipment use and vehicle testing procedures.
7. Adhere to all company policies, environmental, and safety standards.
8. Maintain technical knowledge through ongoing training.
9. Operate and maintain equipment safely.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.

Profile Summary:

• Ability to identify problems, analyze data, and recommend solutions.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Automotive training or relevant experience.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report.
• Own basic tools or participate in Monro’s tool purchase program.
