Job summary

The Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation seeks a Co-Occurring Professional to provide advanced clinical services, coordinating with the treatment team to deliver group and individual therapy for clients with co-occurring substance use and mental health conditions within a 24/7 residential setting.

You will lead in the absence of the program manager, supervise students and interns, and work within a multidisciplinary team to ensure continuous care, crisis response, and adherence to standards of care in

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in behavioral health required.
• Licensed to independently practice mental health and SUD services in Minnesota (LPCC, LMFT, LICSW).
• Must be trained in Rule 31 (Minnesota).
• CPR certification (American Red Cross or American Heart Association) or obtain within 30 days.
• Must satisfactorily pass a state/license background check.
• Have an individual NPI number.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced clinical services, including group therapy and individual counseling for co-occurring disorders.
• Coordinate with the treatment team to integrate mental health and addiction recovery.
• Provide 24/7 residential milieu-based treatment with high-frequency patient engagement and crisis response.
• Lead in the absence of the program manager and supervise students/interns to build clinical competency.

Education

Master’s Degree in behavioral health

State licenses (LPCC, LMFT, LICSW) in MN
