Job summary

Tarkett is seeking a Residential Claims Coordinator to support the TNA Claims team and Technical/Field Services. The role focuses on entering claims data, performing analysis and providing reports on product-related issues and customer claims.

The candidate will work with CRM and SAP systems, communicate across field sales, dealers, distributors, and end users, and provide product/installation support while maintaining an expert knowledge of residential product information.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience in flooring industry preferred, not necessary.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Previous background in Technical Services and Claims Processing.
• Previous Customer Experience background.
• 5+ years in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter and process claim data in CRM to track documentation and communicate information on claims processing.
• Retrieve Invoice and P.O. information from SAP ERP related to customer claims.
• Manage claims to offer timely resolution to the customer.
• Attach records of samples, photos, investigative documents and correspondence in CRM to keep documents current.
• Answer calls or electronic inquiries related to residential products, installation and maintenance for residential flooring products.
• Understand product specifications for all residential products including supplier partners.
• Review data to facilitate corrective and preventative product actions and mitigate claims.
• Monitor and communicate complaint trends to management.
• Facilitate ongoing training to assist internal and external customers with technical product knowledge.
• Maintain and review open claims documents to ensure timely resolution.
• Serve as primary contact for Residential Flooring Claim issues via multiple media.
• Investigate with Quality Assurance to document, resolve and communicate.
• Process all necessary documents associated with the claims process.
• Identify improvement opportunities to reduce claims while enhancing customer experience.
• Collaborate with Claims Coordinators, Manufacturing QA, Customer Service and Sales to validate complaints and resolve within guidelines.
