Job summary

Engineered Floors is seeking a Claims Analyst to partner with internal teams, customers, and vendors to address account reconciliation issues and resolve claims efficiently.

You will research claims, chargebacks, and disputed invoices, support the Credit Department to prevent shipment delays, and coordinate with dealers, carriers, and warehouses. Strong communication, attention to detail, and familiarity with AS400, Excel, and Word are valued.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of carpet claims experience preferred.
• Knowledge of the carpet manufacturing process preferred.
• High school diploma or GED equivalency.
• Knowledge of Customer Service functions as it pertains to claim resolution.
• Proficient and accuracy with computers, AS400 system, Word, and Excel.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Credit Department in resolving issues that could potentially prohibit the shipment of orders
• Process all claims with attention given to each request in a timely manner
• Serve as a liaison for dealers and sales force for determining a resolution and following up on pending claims
• Work with Quality Control on defect resolution
• Schedule return authorizations with dealer, carrier, or warehouses
• Correspond with carrier and dealers regarding damaged or lost freight claims
