Job summary

Waystone Health & Human Services is seeking compassionate direct care staff in Georgetown, MA to support individuals with daily living activities in a group home setting. Positions include Residential Skills Instructor or Awake Overnight staff on part-time schedules (25+ hours/week) with union benefits and a $21.63 hourly rate.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, transportation in wheelchair vans, and documenting progress. Training for MAP and CPR/First Aid is provided soon after hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend English to follow care plans and document services.
• Experience providing training, case management, and services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• MAP Certification; training provided within 6 months.
• CPR/First Aid; training provided within 3 months.
• Valid driver's license with at least one year of driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living activities including bathing, feeding, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
• Transport clients via wheelchair-accessible vans to appointments and community activities.
• Complete ISP plans to support goals and independence.
• Maintain daily logs and track behavioral data.
