Waystone Health & Human Services in Haverhill, MA seeks a dedicated direct care worker to support individuals in a residential group home. Roles include Residential Skills Instructor or Awake Overnight staff, with 40 hours per week and shifts ranging from evenings to overnight hours.

You will assist with activities of daily living, transport via wheelchair van, document care plans, and ensure safety. We require a high school diploma or GED, English literacy, MAP/CPR certifications, and a valid

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED equivalence.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend English to follow care plans and document services.
• Experience delivering training, case management, and services to adults with IDD.
• MAP Certification; training offered to acquire within 6 months.
• CPR/First Aid training offered within 3 months.
• Valid Driver’s License with at least 1 year of driving experience.

Mansioni

• Assist with daily living activities: hygiene, bathing, dressing, feeding, grooming, transfers, and meal prep.
• Transport individuals using wheelchair vans to appointments, events, or activities.
• Complete ISP and track progress with daily logs and notes.
• Maintain safety, confidentiality, and dignity in all interactions.
• Uphold staff/resident ratio and manage home operations.
