Job summary

The State of Arkansas is seeking a Residential Care Team Supervisor/Expert to oversee daily operations of a residential care facility, ensuring safe, high-quality resident care and compliance with state policies.

Lead direct care staff, develop personalized care plans, coordinate with healthcare providers, and manage emergencies with strong leadership and communication skills. This role requires at least three years in social services and CNA certification within six months.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in social services, behavioral health, healthcare, psychology, or a related field.
• At least 1 year in a leadership capacity.
• Must obtain CNA certification within 6 months.
• Knowledge of Arkansas health regulations and Medicaid policies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and evaluate direct care staff to ensure high standards.
• Oversee implementation of individualized care plans for residents.
• Coordinate services with healthcare providers, therapists, and caseworkers.
• Respond to resident concerns and emergencies in a timely manner.
• Ensure facility compliance with Arkansas health and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate records and reports related to resident care and incidents.
• Provide guidance in behavioral interventions and crisis de-escalation.
• Mediate conflicts between residents, staff, and external stakeholders.
