Job summary

Beacon Specialized Living Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced operations manager to lead residential programs across multiple locations. You will supervise Direct Support Professionals, manage budgets and census, and coordinate with regulatory bodies to ensure high-quality care.

You will work with Beacon leadership to streamline operations, improve compliance, and support staff training while maintaining professional conduct and a safe community environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all company and regulatory policies and procedures.
• Operate assigned home(s) to meet budgets and clinical effectiveness as set by the company and customers.
• Support and supervise Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) ensuring training and skills for quality care.
• Maintain assigned home(s) and ensure good working order of systems, facilities and furnishings.
• Coordinate repairs and maintenance; contact maintenance or supervisor for issues.
• Assist supervisor with contracting and evaluate contractor performance.
• Manage cleanliness of homes and vehicles by assigning daily duties per shift.
• Communicate daily with direct supervisor and manage on-call responsibilities.
• Coordinate admissions with referrals, government and licensing agencies as needed.
• Collaborate with Beacon leadership to improve operations, compliance, residential care, and staff performance.
• Maintain professional conduct and ensure it from home staff on duty.
