Job summary

VersAbility Resources in Hampton, Virginia, seeks an experienced Residential Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our Community Living residential programs. You will supervise staff, ensure high-quality care, and maintain regulatory compliance while fostering person-centered support.

This leadership role emphasizes staff development, budgets, ISP planning, and collaboration with Support Coordinators to promote community integration and HCBS compliance across sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, Bachelor's degree in human services or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities.
• Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements for residential programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervision of residential staff and daily operations.
• Develop and manage staff schedules to ensure proper coverage.
• Train and onboard new employees and ensure required certifications are maintained.
• Ensure compliance with state, local, and federal regulations.
• Manage residence operations within budget guidelines.
• Oversee and assist with individuals' personal finances as needed.
• Develop and monitor Individual Support Plans (ISPs).
• Coordinate with Support Coordinators and stakeholders.
• Provide on-call support for emergencies.
• Support community integration and ensure HCBS compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
