Job summary

OhioGuidestone in Lancaster, OH seeks a Residential Specialist to support intensive treatment for substance use disorders. You will supervise client activities, assist with crisis intervention, and maintain accurate records under the SUD Residential Manager.

The role is full-time, on-site with evenings and rotating weekends, offering a nonprofit environment with benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a relevant field preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record required.
• Must obtain CDCA within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete and current clinical records for persons served.
• Provide education to clients, families, and staff on substance use treatment and wellness.
• Oversee safety and basic needs; supervise clients and log pertinent information.
• Facilitate group activities focused on mental health or substance use needs.
