Job summary

OhioGuidestone is seeking a PRN Residential Specialist for night shift float coverage to support SUD residential services. The role involves crisis intervention, supervision, and client activities within a residential treatment setting, with some weekend coverage as needed.

Responsibilities include maintaining records, providing education, and collaborating with the treatment team to ensure safety and timely interventions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CDCA certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete and current clinical records for all clients.
• Provide education to clients, families, and staff on treatment, wellness, and health.
• Observe clients and report changes to the treatment team for appropriate intervention.
• Facilitate group activities focused on mental health or substance use needs.
• Provide direct supervision to ensure safety and meet basic needs.
• Assist clients with behavior management and safety planning.
• Conduct safety checks of clothing, belongings, and environment.
• Meet productivity goals and comply with agency policies.
