Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Hingham, MA is seeking a Full Time Direct Support Professional to provide support, evaluation and treatment to individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting. You will handle case management duties for your caseload under the Residential Manager.

Responsibilities include writing progress notes, attending meetings, developing behavior plans, supervising daily activities, administering medications as required, coordinating medical appointments, transporting

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Education in psychology, social work, special education, or related human service field preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Internet.
• Must complete mandated trainings including medication administration.

Responsibilities

• Write monthly progress notes, ISP, assessments and objectives for annual reviews.
• Attend and participate in meetings; chart data for programs.
• Assist with development of behavior plans or other interventions.
• Instruct, supervise and evaluate individuals in line with support plans.
• Implement behavior plan interventions; may include physical restraint.
• Maintain valid Driver’s License and provide transportation as required.
• Assist with scheduling and attending medical appointments; document accordingly.
• Administer medications as required per procedures.
• Support individuals in scheduling social and leisure activities.
• Maintain residence and yard in clean, orderly condition; ensure safety.
• Assist with personal care tasks (diet, hygiene, dressing, toileting, etc.).
• Assist with physical transfers between wheelchairs, van, etc.
• Maintain professional communication and attire; uphold RTR policies.
