Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Direct Support professional to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting in Norwell, MA. Responsibilities include case management, daily living support, and thorough documentation of progress.

The role requires a High School diploma, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to follow safety and treatment plans. Training and background checks are required. A $2,500 sign-on bonus is available for new full-time hires.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Education related to a field such as: psychology, social work, special education, or related human service work preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and the internet.
• Successful completion and maintenance of all state and agency mandated trainings, including medication administration.
• Must be willing to authorize a Criminal History Background Check (CORI) and release of information concerning allegations from Disabled Persons Protection Commission (DPPC), Department of Developmental Services (DDS), and other agencies.
• Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.

Responsibilities

• Write progress notes, support plans, assessments and annual review objectives.
• Attend and participate in meetings and chart data.
• Assist with development of behavior plans or other intervention strategies.
• Instruct, supervise and evaluate individuals in community living per support plans.
• Administer medications, as required, per procedures.
• Maintain Driver’s License and provide transportation.
• Assist with medical appointments and documentation.
• Support social and leisure activities for individuals.
• Maintain residence and yard in clean condition.
• Adhere to RTR policies and procedures.
• Develop and provide services in line with RTR’s philosophies.
