Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor clients, units, and grounds for safety and security.
• Enforce shelter policies and follow staff procedures.
• Record observations in the communication log and document resident whereabouts.
• Assist residents with questions and resolve issues.
• Inspect items entering the facility for safety.
• Monitor video footage of hallways and common areas.
• Adhere to safety, health, and fire guidelines; conduct hourly rounds.
• Report immediate hazards to supervisors or maintenance staff.
• Collaborate with security personnel to ensure safety.
• Prepare units for vacancies and manage client materials as needed.
• Document incident details, participants, actions, and outcomes.
• May require evenings, weekends, and holidays.
