Job summary

The Arc of San Diego is looking for a Residential Specialist in Kearny Mesa to provide direct, person-centered care for individuals with disabilities in a home setting. You will empower clients to participate in daily life, make choices, and gain independence.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least six months of related experience, and a valid California driver’s license. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. Schedule: Thurs–Sat 7a–3p. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Six months experience working with individuals with disabilities.
• Valid California Driver's License and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on, person-centered care in a residential setting.
• Assist with daily activities like personal care, hygiene, eating, cooking, cleaning, dressing and mobility.
• Encourage independence by supporting individuals in achieving personal goals.
• Create a safe, respectful, and engaging home environment.
