Sheppard Pratt is seeking a Rehabilitation Assistant in Timonium, MD (In Person, Part-Time). Schedule: Saturdays and Sundays 2pm–10pm; pay rate listed as $19/hour. Role includes direct care in a residential rehabilitation program and requires a high school diploma or GED, with a preferred Bachelor’s degree.

You will assist clients, support medication management, and collaborate on individual service plans, with opportunities for mentorship and professional growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Driver’s license with 3 points or less and access to an insured vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Act as a residential counselor assistant, working with clients to learn or regain skills for independent living and socialization.
• Assist in ensuring medication compliance, including safety, dosage, and cleanliness.
• Work as part of a collaborative service team to develop and implement individual service plans.
• Provide transportation and attend clients’ medical appointments, advocating and documenting follow-up instructions.
