Job summary

Sheppard Pratt is seeking a Rehabilitation Assistant in Rosedale, MD. The role involves direct care to support adults with mental health needs in a residential program, with the ability to assist in housing, employment, and services while ensuring safety and therapeutic engagement.

Shift: Saturday and Sunday 11pm-7am; part-time hours with 19 USD/hour. A high school diploma or GED is required, with a bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Willingness to obtain additional certifications and trainings.
• Driver’s license with 3 points or less and access to insured vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Act as residential counselor assistant, aiding clients to learn or regain skills for independent living.
• Assist in ensuring medication safety, dosage accuracy, and cleanliness.
• Work with a collaborative service team to implement individual service plans.
• Provide transportation to medical appointments and advocate for clients during visits.
• Document follow-up instructions and ensure compliance with care plans.
