Job summary

RTR seeks compassionate Residential Support Staff to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in a home setting. You’ll help with daily living, personal care, and mobility, while coordinating medical appointments and community activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and the internet.
• Successful completion and maintenance of all trainings, including medication administration.
• Willingness to authorize a Criminal History Background Check and release information from DPPC/DDS.
• Ability to perform each essential duty; accommodations available.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with daily living skills such as cooking, hygiene, and routines.
• Provide hands-on personal care and mobility assistance.
• Coordinate and attend medical appointments and community activities.
• Implement individualized support and behavioral plans.
• Administer medications following procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment.
• Provide transportation as needed.
• Complete documentation and progress reports.
• Collaborate with team members, families, and care providers.
• Act as a positive, consistent role model.
