Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of one year experience in related healthcare field.
• Licensed CNA or other related healthcare certification accepted in lieu of experience.
• Valid Connecticut Driver’s license with clean driving record required; reliable transportation for scattered-site work.
• CPR/First Aid certification offered as part of orientation; maintain ongoing certification.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and electronic record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Establish rapport with clients while maintaining professional ethics and boundaries.
• Assist with activities of daily living and provide prompts for daily living skills.
• Lead group activities and outings; supervise medication administration with nursing staff.
• Conduct rounds and ensure safe, clean, and well-organized living spaces.
• Document shift logs and communicate concerns to supervisors.
