  • Perform nightly bed counts.
  • Cover for kitchen staff when necessary.
  • Support operations desk duties as needed.
  • Answer phones and help maintain building cleanliness.
  • Monitor common areas for proper usage.

KEY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Perform Daily room and bed inspections

REQUIREMENTS
  • High School Diploma or GED required. Associate’s degree preferred
  • 2 years of applicable experience in shelter or residential setting
  • Passion for working with individuals and families who are in transitional housing
  • Excellent communication skills, comfortable working with others
  • Ability to maintain accurate records, to prepare and submit all required paperwork in a timely and accurate manner
  • Knowledge of DHS requirements and protocols
  • Ability to deal with sensitive issues with diplomacy and discretion
  • Must be able to multitask with strong organizational skills
  • Bilingual is a plus
