Job summary

Pittsburgh Mercy, part of Trinity Health, seeks a Residential Care Advisor for our Munhall location to support individuals with Serious Mental Illness in a residential treatment setting. You will mentor a team and apply strengths-based, positive practices in daily activities.

Responsibilities include cooking, cleaning, medication management, appointments, family liaison, and designing engaging activities. Team-oriented, compassionate professionals are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree OR High School Diploma or Equivalency and 1 year of direct care experience.
• Valid Driver license
• Pre-employment drug screen
• Act 33/34/73 clearances

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance and training to individuals with Serious Mental Illness in residential treatment.
• Demonstrate strengths-based approach and positive practices in guiding daily activities.
• Assist with cooking, cleaning, medication management, appointments, and transport as needed.
• Engage with families and treatment team members and design activities such as games and crafts.

Pittsburgh Mercy is looking for a Residential Care Advisor to provide assistance and training to individuals with Serious Mental Illness in our residential treatment Munhall location. We're looking for people who have experience developing and mentoring a team, and who believe in a strengths-based approach, and use positive practices to help guide their everyday activities.

In any given day, you might cook, clean, manage medications, take residents to appointments, interact with family and resident treatment team members, and design games and crafts. We're looking for employees who are professional, flexible, compassionate, and can remain composed in stressful situations. This is a team-based position. Our sites are like your family home!
