Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center is hiring Behavioral Health Technicians for second and third shifts at our Maryland Eastern Shore facility. You will help manage daily residential operations, supervise care, and support clients in a warm, recovery-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and CPR certification required.
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year sobriety is required.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Warm, empathetic personality with ability to set firm boundaries.
• Dignified, honest character which models recovery principles.

Responsibilities

• Manage all daily residential operations (intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, medications).
• Train and support BHT team in all operations and responsibilities.
• Escalate concerns or crises to Lead Behavioral Health Technician.
• Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm recovery environment.
• Ensure client and BHT compliance with all Avenues rules, policies and procedures.
