Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center, Lake Ariel, is hiring Behavioral Health Technicians for third shift to support 40-bed residential detox and inpatient rehabilitation services. You’ll supervise daily operations, engage clients, and maintain a safe, recovery-oriented environment.

We seek candidates with strong leadership, empathy, and boundary-setting ability; a high school diploma or GED is preferred, with CPR and a valid driver's license encouraged.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and CPR certification preferred.
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Warm, empathetic personality with ability to set firm boundaries.
• Dignified, honest character which models recovery principles.

Responsibilities

• Manage all daily residential operations ( Intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, medications ).
• Train and support BHT team in operations and responsibilities.
• Escalate concerns or crises to Lead Behavioral Health Technician.
• Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm recovery environment.
• Ensure client and BHT compliance with Avenues policies and procedures.
