Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center is seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Technician to support second and third shifts at our Eastern Shore residential facility in Salisbury, MD. You will supervise daily operations, support client engagement, and ensure safety and compliance in a warm recovery environment.

Ideal candidates bring a high school diploma, CPR certification, a valid driver's license, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver\'s license required.
• CPR certification required; in recovery, a minimum one-year sobriety helps.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily residential operations (intake, supervision, events, transportation, meals, medications).
• Train and support BHT team in operations and responsibilities.
• Escalate concerns to Lead Behavioral Health Technician as needed.
• Oversee client engagement and morale in a warm recovery environment.
• Ensure client and BHT compliance with Avenues rules and procedures.
