Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center at Eastern Shore is hiring Behavioral Health Technicians for second and third shifts. A valid driver's license is required. You’ll help manage daily residential operations and support a compassionate care team to maintain a safe, recovery-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and CPR certification required.
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Warm, empathetic personality with ability to set firm boundaries.
• Dignified, honest character which models recovery principles.

Responsibilities

• Manage all daily residential operations (e.g., Intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, medications).
• Train and support BHT team in all operations and responsibilities.
• Escalate concerns or crises to Lead Behavioral Health Technician.
• Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm and positive recovery environment.
• Ensure client and BHT compliance to all Avenues rules, policies and procedures.
