Job summary

Ascension Recovery Services in Williamson, WV is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician Supervisor to lead a team of RSS/BHTs in a residential SUD program. You will supervise, train, and ensure safe, trauma-informed care, while maintaining program integrity.

The role combines hands-on clinical duties with staff scheduling, onboarding, and coordinating with nursing and clinical teams to support client recovery and continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Experience training, mentoring, or onboarding new staff.
• First Aid/CPR within 30 days of hire.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to transport patients per state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and evaluate RSS/BHT staff and ensure monthly supervision and annual performance reviews.
• Collaborate with nursing, clinical, and administrative teams to provide integrated, client-centered care.
• Develop and maintain RSS staffing schedules and ensure appropriate coverage.
• Lead orientation and onboarding for new RSS staff within 60 days.
• Develop training materials and provide ongoing staff development.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, safety protocols, and best practices.
• Conduct client orientations within 48 hours of admission and support program rules.
