Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health in New York provides programs and services for children and adults with intellectual disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and dual diagnoses. Located at our main campus in Red Hook, Dutchess County, NY, this position is responsible for providing direction and mentorship to Residential staff regarding behavioral strategies. The Behavior Specialist reinforces clinical plans and skills through mentorship and role modeling, encourages positive behavior, and implements strategies to promote growth and development of residents. They will also train direct care staff in implementing student plans and serve as a certified trainer for residential staff.
