Job summary

BRAVAS in Boca Raton, FL is seeking a Technician who combines craftsmanship with technology to install and service premium smart home systems. You will work with Lead Technicians and Project Managers to ensure precision and highest standards across luxury residential projects.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in residential tech installation, hands-on experience with A/V, lighting, and control systems, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in residential technology installation or a related trade.
• Hands-on experience with low-voltage wiring, A/V systems, or home automation.
• Ability to read residential construction drawings and follow wiring diagrams.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Installs and configures A/V systems, lighting control, shading, networks, and security equipment.
• Supports pre-wire, trim-out, and final install phases for luxury residential projects.
• Reads and interprets blueprints, plans, and schematics to execute clean, accurate installations.
• Troubleshoots and resolves system issues on-site with professionalism and care.
• Maintains daily documentation and updates work orders in project management software.
• Communicates with Lead Technicians and Project Managers to confirm project timelines, tasks, and expectations.
• Handles client equipment and property with attention and respect.
• Participates in the on-call service rotation, as required.
• Maintains company assets, tools, van, and inventory in top condition.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Understanding ofkey systems: audio, video, lighting, and control brands (Control4, Savant, Lutron, Crestron preferred).
• Ability to read residential construction drawings and follow wiring diagrams.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to pass a background check; security license or experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 60 pounds.
• Comfortable working in tight spaces and at ladder heights.
• Ability to work in varying environmental conditions (hot, cold, outdoor).
