Job summary

Bravas in Boca Raton, FL, is seeking a Technician who loves craftsmanship and smart home technology. You will install and service luxury A/V, lighting, shading, networks, and security for high-end residential projects, collaborating with Lead Technicians and Project Managers to uphold Bravas' high standards.

The role emphasizes precise wiring, problem-solving, and respectful client interactions, with on-site troubleshooting, thorough documentation, and participation in on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of residential technology installation experience.
• Hands-on experience with low-voltage wiring, A/V, or home automation.
• Ability to read residential construction drawings and follow wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Installs and configures A/V systems, lighting control, shading, networks, and security equipment.
• Supports pre-wire, trim-out, and final install phases for luxury residential projects.
• Reads and interprets blueprints, plans, and schematics to execute clean, accurate installations.
• Troubleshoots and resolves system issues on-site with professionalism and care.
• Maintains daily documentation and updates work orders in project management software.
• Communicates with Lead Technicians and Project Managers to confirm timelines and tasks.
• Handles client equipment and property with attention and respect.
• Participates in on-call service rotation as required.
• Maintains company assets, tools, van, and inventory in top condition.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical certificationsa plus).
• 2+ years of experience in residentialtechnology installation ora relatedtrade.
• Hands-on experience with low-voltage wiring, A/V systems, or home automation.
• Understanding ofkey systems: audio, video, lighting, and control brands (Control4, Savant, Lutron, Crestron preferred).
• Ability to read residential construction drawings and follow wiring diagrams.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to pass a background check; security license or experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 60 pounds.
• Comfortable working in tight spaces and at ladder heights.
• Ability to work in varying environmental conditions (hot, cold, outdoor).
