Job summary

BRAVAS is seeking a skilled Technician to install and service premium smart home systems in luxury residential projects. You will work with Lead Technicians and Project Managers to deliver precise, high‑quality installations.

This role emphasizes craftsmanship, problem‑solving, and care for clients and equipment; requires 2+ years in residential tech installation, reading blueprints, and strong troubleshooting; valid driver's license; background check.

Qualifications

• Ability to read residential drawings and follow wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Installs and configures A/V systems, lighting control, shading, networks, and security equipment.
• Supports pre-wire, trim-out, and final install phases for luxury residential projects.
• Reads and interprets blueprints and schematics to execute clean, accurate installations.
• Troubleshoots and resolves on-site system issues with professionalism.
• Maintains daily documentation and updates work orders.

Responsibilities

• Installs and configures A/V systems, lighting control, shading, networks, andsecurity equipment.
• Supports pre-wire, trim-out, and final install phases for luxury residentialprojects.
• Reads and interprets blueprints, plans, and schematics to executeclean,accurateinstallations.
• Troubleshoots and resolves system issues on‑sitewithprofessionalism and care.
• Maintains daily documentation and updates work orders inprojectmanagement software.
• Communicates with LeadTechnicians andProjectManagers to confirmprojecttimelines, tasks, and expectations.
• Handles client equipment andproperty with attention and respect.
• Participates in the on-callservicerotation, asrequired.
• Maintains company assets, tools,van, and inventory in top condition.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical certificationsa plus).
• 2+ years of experience in residentialtechnology installation ora relatedtrade.
• Hands‑on experience with low‑voltage wiring, A/V systems, orhomeautomation.
• Understanding ofkey systems: audio, video, lighting, and control brands (Control4, Savant, Lutron, Crestron preferred).
• Ability to read residential construction drawings and follow wiring diagrams.
• Strong troubleshooting andproblem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to pass a background check;security licenseor experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 60 pounds.
• Comfortable working in tight spaces and at ladder heights.
• Ability to work in varying environmental conditions (hot, cold, outdoor).
