Bravas, the nation’s #1 luxury technology integrator in Minneapolis, seeks an on-site Lead Technician to manage installation, configuration, and servicing of advanced security and smart home systems for residential and commercial clients.

The ideal candidate will lead by example, mentor junior technicians, and uphold our collaborative, accountable, proactive, curious, and creative culture while ensuring high-quality workmanship and exceptional customer experiences.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in low voltage systems is a plus.
• 3–5 years of experience in smart home, AV, or low-voltage security installation.
• Proficiency with one or more platforms (e.g., Control4, Lutron, Savant, Alarm.com, Ring, Nest, Crestron, Hikvision).
• Solid understanding of low-voltage wiring, networking basics, power management, and system configuration.
• Experience reading schematics, floor plans, and system diagrams.
• Comfortable with ladders, power tools, and physically demanding work environments.
• Effective communication and leadership skills.
• Certifications (CEDIA, ESA, Control4, Lutron, or equivalent) a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Occasional travel required.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinates with project managers, programmers, and system designers to translate plans into installations.
• Ensures all systems are installed to company standards and functions as intended.
• Verifies work quality via final walkthroughs, documentation, and testing.
• Maintains accurate records, service logs, and client signoffs for project closeout.
• Identifies and resolves installation issues to protect client experience and progress.
• Prepares for each job by reviewing documentation and planning the approach.
• Keeps job sites organized, clean, and safe at all times.
• Stays current on new technologies and installation techniques.

The Role

TheLeadTechnician will take ownership of on-site installation, configuration, andservicing ofinnovativesecurityand smart home systems.

This role is crucial in delivering dependable, beautiful, and user-friendly experiences to our residential and commercial clients. Responsibilities

• Leads and guidesinstallation teams on job sites, ensuring clear communication, shared understanding of tasks, and alignment withprojecttimelines.
• Coordinates closely withprojectmanagers,programmers, and system designers to translate design plans into flawless installations.
• Takesownership of the technical execution on-site:Ensuring all systems (security,access control, surveillance, automation, AV, etc.) are installed to company standards.
• Verifies work quality through final walk-throughs, documentation, and functional testing.
• Maintainsaccuraterecords,servicelogs, and client signoffs to support successfulprojectcloseout.
• Identifyand resolve technical or installation issues before theyimpactclient experience orprojectprogress.

• Adapts your approach based on client feedback or environmental conditions tomaintainexcellence in execution.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
