Job summary

Bravas in Nashville is seeking a skilled Technician to install and service advanced smart home systems for luxury residential projects. The role emphasizes precision, problem-solving, and pride in high-standard connections across A/V, lighting, shading, networks, and security.

You will work with Lead Technicians and Project Managers, read blueprints, and ensure installations meet Bravas standards while maintaining documentation and client respect.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in residential technology installation or related trade.
• Hands-on experience with low-voltage wiring, A/V systems, or home automation.
• Ability to read residential construction drawings and follow wiring diagrams.
• Understanding of key systems: audio, video, lighting, and control brands (Control4, Savant, Lutron, Crestron preferred).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record; security license or experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Installs and configures A/V systems, lighting control, shading, networks, and security equipment.
• Supports pre-wire, trim-out, and final install phases for luxury residential projects.
• Reads and interprets blueprints, plans, and schematics to execute clean, accurate installations.
• Troubleshoots and resolves system issues on-site with professionalism and care.
• Maintains daily documentation and updates work orders in project management software.
• Communicates with Lead Technicians and Project Managers to confirm project timelines, tasks, and expectations.
• Handles client equipment and property with attention and respect.
• Participates in the on-call service rotation, as required.
• Maintains company assets, tools, van, and inventory in top condition.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 60 pounds.
• Comfortable working in tight spaces and at ladder heights.
• Ability to work in varying environmental conditions (hot, cold, outdoor).
