Job summary

Jackson County is seeking a Residential Appraiser to perform field and office appraisals of residential, agricultural, special purpose properties (condos, co-ops), and vacant parcels. You will gather, record, maintain, and analyze data such as zoning, selling and asking prices, income and building costs to support appraisals.

The role also handles complaints about property assessments, conducts reappraisals, and presents recommendations at hearings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or its equivalent.
• Two years of experience in Real Estate in one of the following fields: appraisal, construction, sales, or experience with mass appraisal computer system.
• Must possess/maintain valid Missouri Driver's License.
• Must submit to and pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
