Job summary

Project Chesapeake in Harwood, MD is seeking a part-time Residential Aide to support clients in a behavioral health and addiction treatment setting. You will monitor residents during shifts, help with intakes, and maintain safety and schedule adherence.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn ASAM criteria, Stages of Change, and 12-step recovery principles.

Responsibilities

• Monitor all clients throughout your shift.
• Conduct regular rounds around the property.
• Ensure the daily program and schedule are followed.
• Assist with new intakes and room searches; monitor mealtimes.
• Observe and document medications administered or refused.
• Monitor and observe supervised urinalysis as scheduled.
• Communicate professionally with clients, staff, and supervisors.
• Inform staff of client challenges during shift changes.
• Attend team meetings as needed and adapt to schedule changes.
• Maintain ethical and professional boundaries; uphold HIPAA requirements.

Project Chesapeake provides quality addiction treatment, behavioral health therapy & treatment for individuals with a dual diagnosis. We are seeking a highly motivated, reliable, & professional, part-time Residential Aide to join our team! Our mission is to provide an opportunity for individuals to learn how to live a positive, sober lifestyle while empowering them to make changes that will lead to successful, independent living.

Hours:

• Part time
• Friday - 3:00pm - 11:00pm
• Sunday - 7:00am - 3:00pm

Responsibilities include:

• Is responsible for monitoring all clients throughout their assigned shift.
• Ability to conduct regular "rounds" around the entire property.
• Ensures the daily program / schedule is being followed.
• Assist with new intakes, complete room searches, monitor mealtimes, etc.
• Observes & documents all clients taking and / or refusing prescribed or over the counter medications.
• Monitor & observe supervised urinalysis as needed / scheduled.
• Communicates in a professional manner with all clients, staff & supervisors.
• Keeps all program staff members informed of all client's current challenges or behavioral issues.
• Provides accurate information during shift changes via written & verbal communication in a professional manner.
• Attends team meetings as necessary / scheduled.
• Can quickly adapt to changes in schedules, routines & work assignments.
• Ability to deescalate.
• Ability to maintain ethical & professional boundaries with all clients & staff.
• Understands & abides by HIPAA guidelines / requirements at all times.

Qualifications include:

Pay:

• $17.00/hr.
