Job summary

American Furniture Rental seeks a Residential Account Executive to drive revenue growth by acquiring new business and expanding relationships with apartment communities and property managers. You will deliver consultative solutions throughout the sales cycle, from initial outreach to post-sale support.

In this role, you will prospect, present tailored furniture rental programs, negotiate contracts, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term account growth.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in sales, business development, account management, or client-facing roles.
• Experience selling to residential, multifamily, property management, real estate, relocation, furniture rental, or B2B clients is a plus.
• Strong communication, presentation, organization, time management, and follow-up skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business through targeted prospecting, cold calling, referrals, networking, and digital engagement.
• Build and execute a territory-based sales plan focused on high-potential accounts and key stakeholders.
• Present company products and services through virtual and in-person consultations that communicate value, pricing, and lead times.
• Prepare proposals, quotes, contracts, and cost-benefit analyses; negotiate to close.
• Manage the full sales cycle from outreach to order fulfillment and after-sales support.
