Job summary

Lutheran Senior Services seeks a Lifestyle Enrichment Guide to plan and deliver activities that support wellness domains for residents. You will collaborate with staff, families and volunteers to create engaging programs and track each resident’s progress with individualized plans.

Responsibilities include preparing spaces, transporting residents when needed, and advocating for residents’ preferences. A valid driver's license and CPR certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in lifestyle enrichment/activity role preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• Customer service and person-centered care are valued.
• Creativity and interpersonal interaction in activities.
• Team player mindset.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Active driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team to plan and evaluate resident lifestyle enrichment activities.
• Observe attendance, mood and involvement to support individual needs.
• Prepare rooms, gather supplies, transport residents to activities and tidy spaces.
• Respond to residents according to their interests and activity levels.
• Advocate for residents and communicate changes to the supervisor and team.
• If licensed, back-up Chauffeur duties for offsite transport (DOT and licenses as required).
