Job summary

Lutheran Senior Services is seeking a Lifestyle Enrichment Guide to plan and implement activities that support residents' wellness across social, intellectual, physical, and spiritual domains.

You will work cooperatively with residents, families, and staff to create a positive environment that enhances healthy aging and respects individual preferences. The role includes assisting with transportation when licensed and DOT-certified as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in lifestyle enrichment or activity role preferable.
• Must be CPR certified.
• Demonstrates a high level of customer service and values person-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Works collaboratively with the team in planning, development, organizing, implementing, and evaluating each resident’s lifestyle enrichment pursuits.
• Observes resident attendance, mood, behavior and involvement to evaluate progress and support individual needs.
• Prepares rooms/areas for enrichment programs, gathers supplies, transports residents, and cleans up after activities.
• Responds to residents based on their activity level and interests to reflect individual desires.
• Acts as advocate for residents, communicating changes observed to supervisor and team.
