Job summary

Saber Healthcare Group in Virginia is seeking a Life Enrichment Director to enhance resident wellness through planning and directing the life enrichment program. The role emphasizes creating engaging activities aligned with residents' well-being and organizational standards.

You will supervise staff, ensure the program addresses spiritual, emotional, social, educational, and cultural needs, and maintain compliance with health and safety policies while supporting overall facility goals.

Qualifications

• Must be CTRS through NCTRC or ADC through NCCAP or COTA certified in the state where the community is located.
• Bachelor's degree in therapeutic recreation or related field preferred but not required.
• Minimum two years in a social or recreation program within the last five years; full-time in a patient activities program in health care preferred.
• CTRS experience preferred.
• LTC experience preferred.
• Must communicate in English and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Must have good interpersonal skills and attention to detail.

• Develop and implement life enrichment activities aligned with residents' needs and registered policies.
• Ensure compliance with health, sanitary and infection control guidelines.
