Job summary

Saber Health Group is seeking a Life Enrichment Director to enhance resident wellness and quality of life through planning, organizing, developing, implementing and directing the life enrichment program in accordance with applicable standards.

The role requires CTRS/ADC/COTA credentials and a background in therapeutic recreation, with focus on English communication, strong interpersonal skills, and detail orientation.

Qualifications

• Must be a CTRS through NCTRC or an Activity Director Certified (ADC) through NCCAP or a COTA certified by the state where the community is located.
• Bachelor's degree in therapeutic recreation or related field preferred but not required.
• Minimum two years of experience in a social or recreation program within the last five years; preferably one year full-time as a director in a healthcare setting.
• CTRS experience preferred; LTC experience preferred.
• Must communicate in English and follow verbal and written instructions; must have good interpersonal skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Enhance resident wellness and quality of life through planning, developing, implementing and directing the life enrichment program.
• Ensure an ongoing life enrichment program meets resident interests and well-being across multiple domains.
• Follow health, sanitary and infection control policies and community standards.
