Resident Transportation Specialist (CDL & CPR)

Job summary

MountainOne is seeking a dependable transportation attendant to move residents to destinations and perform routine errands for the office. You will keep vehicles clean, conduct daily maintenance checks and log activities to ensure safe, reliable service.

The role involves assisting residents with boarding, operating wheelchair lifts and supporting grounds staff in winter conditions. A year of similar facility experience is preferred and the required licenses/certifications must be current.

Qualifications

• One year experience at similar facility preferred.
• Must possess a valid Massachusetts CDL Class II with a passenger endorsement license.
• CPR & First Aid annually
• Must demonstrate the ability to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Transports residents to their destination whenever transportation is needed.
• Makes miscellaneous runs for the office - banking, printer, post office, corporate office etc., whenever needed.
• Maintains cleanliness of all vehicles on a daily basis; washes vehicles whenever necessary.
• Performs routine preventive maintenance on all vehicles. Reports any problems to Supervisor of Maintenance.
• Maintains all tools, equipment and supplies in proper condition.
• Exercises extreme care in driving and in assisting residents on and off vehicles.
• Is courteous, in uniform and well-groomed at all times.
• Accomplishes additional duties as required and directed by Supervisor.
• Assists grounds staff with snow and ice removal whenever necessary.
• Operates wheelchair lifts properly and ensures safe transport of wheelchair bound residents, residents with electric carts and residents with walkers.
• Maintains daily maintenance log.
