Job summary

Rocky Mountain Care in Woods Cross, UT is seeking a Transportation Driver to provide reliable, safe resident transportation to and from appointments using a large van. You will coordinate with the in-office Transportation team and perform daily safety checks.

Required: age 18+, a valid state license, clean driving record, ability to lift 50 pounds, CPR and First Aid certification (or willing to obtain), and good interpersonal skills. Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Current valid state driver’s license.
• Maintain acceptable driving record.
• Be able to lift 50 pounds.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willing to attain upon hire).
• Exhibit excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, overhead lifting as needed.
• Ability to work beyond normal hours, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents to appointments safely and on time.
• Provide residents with friendly, compassionate transportation.
• Drive a large van in a safe and courteous manner.
• Assist residents into wheelchairs or stretchers and in/out of the vehicle.
• Perform daily vehicle safety checks and routine maintenance.
• Coordinate schedules with the in-office Transportation team.
• Ensure all paperwork for appointments is collected and delivered.
