Job summary

American Senior Communities in Zionsville, IN seeks a Resident Transportation Driver for a full-time day shift. You will transport residents to medical appointments, outings and activities, assisting with buses and mobility devices while maintaining safety and a friendly, respectful attitude.

Responsibilities include coordinating with the Bethany Village team, performing safety checks, and supporting the Activities team as needed. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities accompany this role.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 25 years old.
• High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Able to assist residents safely onto/off the bus.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to medical appointments, outings, activities and other destinations.
• Assist residents on/off the bus, including those using wheelchairs or mobility devices.
• Operate wheelchair ramps, lifts and tie-downs safely.
• Coordinate drop-offs and pickups with the Bethany Village team.
• Keep the bus clean, fueled, organized and ready for transportation.
• Complete routine vehicle safety checks and report maintenance needs.
• Assist Activities team with outings and events as needed.
• Provide a friendly, respectful and supportive travel experience.
