Job summary

American Senior Communities in Zionsville, IN seeks a Resident Transportation Driver for a full-time day shift. You will transport residents to medical appointments, outings and activities, assisting with buses and mobility devices while maintaining safety and a friendly, respectful attitude.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 25 years old.
• High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Able to assist residents safely onto/off the bus.

• Complete routine vehicle safety checks and report maintenance needs.
• Assist Activities team with outings and events as needed.

Full-Time | Day Shift | Monday–Friday

Schedule: Monday–Friday, typically 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Hours may fluctuate based on resident appointments and transportation needs.

Zionsville Meadows is looking for a dependable and friendly Resident Transportation Driver to provide safe transportation for our residents to medical appointments, community outings, activities, and other destinations.

What You'll Do

• Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments, outings, activities, and other community destinations.
• Assist residents safely on and off the bus, including residents who use wheelchairs or other mobility devices.
• Safely operate wheelchair ramps, lifts, tie-downs, and other transportation equipment.
• Coordinate resident drop-offs and pick-ups with the Bethany Village team.
• Keep the bus clean, fueled, organized, and ready for transportation.
• Complete routine vehicle safety checks and report maintenance or repair needs.
• Assist the Activities team with resident outings, events, and activities as needed.
• Provide a friendly, respectful, and supportive experience for residents while traveling.

Requirements

• Must be at least 25 years of age.
• High school diploma/GED, related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
