Job summary

Christian Care Mesquite is seeking a dedicated Driver to transport residents to scheduled appointments using company vehicles. You will be the primary driver, coordinating with staff to ensure timely, safe transport and maintaining clear communication with residents and medical teams.

Qualifications

• Compassion for and desire to work with seniors.
• Six months preferred with no more than one moving violation within the last 3 years.
• Valid driver\'s license; CDL if applicable.
• Ability to perform driving maneuvers safely with assigned vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary driver for transportation needs.
• Manage time and location to accommodate resident appointments.
• Work with other drivers and Systems Coordinator to maximize efficiency.
• Maintain vehicles and report any damage or deficiencies.
• Secure residents and wheelchairs during transport and ensure safety.
• Communicate with residents and staff about transportation needs.
• Keep up to date with required training and maintain confidentiality.
• Seek out and perform other duties as assigned to support operations.
• Routinely check schedules for changes.
