Job summary

Carriage House Nursing and Rehab is seeking a dedicated Facility Driver to safely transport residents to and from the facility and other destinations. You will maintain a clean vehicle, provide friendly customer service, and coordinate routes while complying with regulations and company policies.

A high school diploma, valid driver’s license, clean MVR, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
• 25+ years or older, per insurance carrier requirements.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to and from the facility and other destinations as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, adhering to all regulatory requirements and company policies
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, staff, and the general public
• Manage and prioritize routes and schedules to ensure efficient and timely delivery of services
• Maintain accurate records of transportation activities, including logs and reports
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless support and communication
