Job summary

Atria Senior Living - Rocklin is seeking a transportation driver who provides safe, courteous transport for residents and assists them into and out of vehicles, including securing wheelchairs. The role maintains travel records and supports Engage Life activities on-site.

Requirements include high school diploma or GED, CDL, and knowledge of vehicle maintenance. Benefits include holidays/PTO, health/dental/vision, 401(k) with match, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience or training; or equivalent combination.
• Five or more years of driving experience and knowledge of vehicle preventative maintenance programs.
• Commercial driver's license required to operate commercial size vehicles.
• Able to operate a 7–16 passenger bus and related equipment.
• Experience with vehicle emergency repairs and tire changes.

Responsibilities

• Drive from community to social and other destinations per schedule.
• Assist residents into and out of vehicle safely.
• Secure passengers' wheelchairs to restraints.
• Practice safe driving techniques at all times.
• Clean and service vehicle; report maintenance needs.
• Maintain daily/weekly trip inspection records and maintenance logs.
• Deliver groceries and belongings to residents' apartments.
• Assist Engage Life Department in activities as needed.
• Submit charges to business office daily for travel expenses.
