Job summary

Atria Senior Living in Rocklin, CA seeks a dedicated Transportation Driver to provide safe, courteous service for residents. You will operate 7–16 passenger vehicles, maintain records, assist residents in and out, and coordinate routine vehicle maintenance with the Engage Life and Maintenance teams.

A valid CDL is required, a clean driving record, and a passion for helping seniors, with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1–3 months related experience or equivalent.
• Five or more years of driving experience and knowledge of vehicle preventive maintenance programs.
• Commercial driver's license required to operate commercial size vehicles.
• Able to operate 7–16 passenger bus and related equipment.
• Experience with vehicle emergency repairs and tire changes.
• Knowledge of streets within an 8‑mile radius of the community.
• Must meet Atria Motor Vehicle Record policy standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, courteous transportation and support for Engage Life/Maintenance Directors.
• Coordinate vehicle pre-maintenance and repairs to ensure longevity.
• Drive to destinations per schedule; assist residents in/out of vehicle.
• Secure wheelchairs and practice safe driving techniques.
• Clean and service vehicles; report maintenance needs.
• Maintain daily/weekly trip inspections and records.
• Deliver groceries and belongings to residents’ apartments.
• Support Engage Life activities as needed.
• Submit charges to the business office daily for travel expenses.
• Maintain a safe driving record and report unsafe conditions.
• Handle emergencies and basic First Aid.
